Yes! Kristina's Catering is off-premise only. We only work at public venues that allow outside catering and in private homes throughout Metro Detroit. Portable service equipment is brought to every event to produce restaurant-quality food that exceeds Guests' expectations.

You provide the food and beverage tables, and we provide the linens to cover them. If your venue/home does not have tables available, we can rent them for you and arrange delivery to your event.

Yes! Our services include cutting and serving of your wedding cake with no cake cutting fee.

Yes, if there is no liquor license at the public venue you have booked, our TIPS-certified bartenders can serve the alcoholic beverages that you provide. Otherwise, the on-premise licensee must provide all alcoholic beverages.

To keep the bar line-free and give excellent Guest service, Kristina highly recommends one bartender per 50 Guests.

Yes! We are licensed and can provide an insurance rider to your venue upon request.

Yes! Our grill and barbecue menus may include grilling on-site for an additional fee.

Yes! We work with you to support your event with as much or as little help as you need. We can assist in coordinating your rental china, silverware, glassware, tablecloths, and napkins or you may choose to provide your own tableware.

Yes! Tastings are available weekdays hosted at our Shelby Township catering kitchen. There is a fee is scheduled before booking your event date or the tasting is free if scheduled after you have booked.

Although Kristina Montalto has extensive experience in food production and service, Kristina's Catering employs a multi-member culinary team to execute the many events booked each week.

Depending on the style of meal service and specific event needs, there is anywhere from one server per 15 Guests to one server per 25 Guests. In addition to dining room floor staff, there is a culinary team on-site at every event as well as bartenders, bussers, and housemen depending on your event needs and venue guidelines.

Staff arrive two hours before Guests to load-in equipment, set-up the food and beverage service tables, set the Guest tables. They may serve food and assist Guests at buffet tables, refill Guests' water glasses, clear plates, bus rental china, serve coffee, serve cake, and keep the venue catering staging area clean. Staff are usually there at your event until the conclusion of beverage service, assist in clearing tables of bar glassware throughout the night, and pulling garbage according to the venue's guidelines. Each server walks, on average, 20,000 steps per event. That's almost 8 miles!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! And...Yes! We will work with you to customize menus that appeal to all palates and accommodate dietary allergies and restrictions.

We recommend a wedding planner or day-of coordinator to complete those final event touches the day-of your event. That lets Kristina's Catering staff concentrate on executing your food and beverage to make your event deeee-licious!
